Neha Kumar is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who provides psychotherapy to adults and adolescents and serves as Primary Therapist at premiere treatment facility A Better Life Recovery in Orange County. As Primary Therapist at A Better Life Recovery, Kumar provides individual, groups and family therapy sessions for those dealing with substance abuse disorders, mental health conditions and more. She draws on a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution‑focused brief therapy and Narrative therapy. She is committed to helping clients of all ages with a collaborative, goal‑directed approach that enables them to redefine and take control of their lives through the active exploration and modification of negative thoughts and behaviors.
She has experience working in a community mental health clinic, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers and both public and private school settings.
Neha graduated from University of Southern California, Los Angeles in December 2007 earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and from Antioch University in 2013 earning a Master’s in Clinical Psychology.
In addition, she is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
