Josh Temple – TV Host, Contractor & DIY Expert

Josh Temple is a nationally recognized contractor, DIY expert and media personality/host best known for DiY Network’s House Crashers and Disaster House.

In 2003 Josh hosted his first home improvement show called Ultimate Treehouse. From there he hosted several more home improvement shows with a multitude of networks until he signed with Scripps Networks to host shows for Diy Network and HGTV.

For the past eight years he has hosted over 250 episodes of home improvement shows including Disaster House, Sold on the Spot, Flipping The Block, Beach Flip, HGTV Dream Home, HGTV Rose Parade, and his biggest show House Crashers.

Temple graduated from University of California at Santa Barbara in 1993 and went straight into construction. He spent eight years working for Atlas Heating and Ventilating in San Francisco. While in San Francisco, Temple began performing comedy and improv, until he moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to pursue acting full time, but continued doing side jobs building for contractors.

As an actor Josh booked over 20 commercials, had a successful voice over career, and co-starred in hit shows Curb Your Enthusiasm and Will & Grace.

Josh also spends his of time working with his favorite charity Boystown ( He helped start a trade school program called Trade Life, which gives at-risk kids an opportunity to learn construction skills and find employment after high school. To date, Boystown offers classes in construction, small engines, and welding.

Josh Temple is a licensed contractor, proud husband, father of two, and an avid golfer.
